City Council

The City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta.

The council staff, including the Municipal Clerk, had their budget briefing on Wednesday, June 8, at 11:00am. (video | slides)

The total proposed operating budget for the City Council is $12,379,032. This is an increase of $108,635 (+1%) from the previous year. The number of authorized positions (jobs) is proposed to remain at 48.
