The Auditor’s Office conducts audits to assess whether City activities and programs comply with applicable laws and regulations, achieve intended outcomes and benefits, use resources economically and efficiently, and operate with adequate systems of internal control.
Budget Overview
The total proposed FY2026 operating budget for the Auditor’s Office is $2,129,312. This is an increase of $93,911 (+4.4%) from the previous year.
The number of authorized full-time equivalent positions (jobs) is proposed to increase from 12.24 to 13.60 (+11.1%).
